WINNERS OF THE BRASS AND PERCUSSION INSTRUMENTS DEPARTMENT

On April 21-23, 2023 was held II International competition “Star Art” (Kurgan, Russia). Piano accompanist of the Brass and Percussion Instruments Department of the Orchestra Faculty E.Gruzdeva (piano) was awarded Gratitude (online) for training laureate.

On April 21-23, 2023 was held II International competition “Star Art” (Kurgan, Russia). Senior teacher of the Brass and Percussion Instruments Department of the Orchestra Faculty D.Chekhovsky (trumpet) was awarded 1st degree diploma (online) in nomination “Solo performance”.

On January 29, 2023 was held St.Petersburg International competition named after I.Stravinsky (St.Petersburg, Russia). 5th year student of the Orchestra Faculty Yu.Shablovsky (percussion instruments) was awarded 1st degree laureate diploma (online), class of L.Klindukhova.

April-May 2020, Yury Shablovsky, 1st degree laureate diploma of II All-Russian Competition of scientific works in nomination “Multimedia project” (Russia, Krasnodar);

November-December 2020, Yury Shablovsky, 3rd degree laureate of International Competition-Festival of Percussion Instruments, Marching and Brass Orchestras “Percussion Wave” in nomination “Timpani” and in nomination “Latin percussion” (Russia, St.Petersburg).

November 2021, Pavel Gurbo and Anton Shinkarenko, Gran Prix of international online competition-festival “Festa Fiesta” in nomination “Ensemble” (Loreto de Mar, Spain, October 2021);

Pavel Gurbo and Anton Shinkarenko became 1st degree laureates of International competition-festival “World Music” in nomination “Ensemble”, (Israel, Tel-Aviv);

November 2021, Yury Shablovsky, 1st degree laureate diploma of International competition-festival “World Music” in nomination “Percussion Instruments”, (Israel, Tel-Aviv);

November-December 2021, Yury Shablovsky, 2nd degree laureate diploma of International competition-festival of Percussion Instruments, Marching and Brass Orchestras “Percussion Wave” in nomination “Snare drum” (Russia, St.Petersburg).

December 2021, Yury Shablovsky, 3rd degree laureate diploma of International competition of scientific works in nomination “Scientific-popular film” (Russia, Moscow);

On February 16, 2020 in Minsk (Belarus) was held II International Creative Competition “Dream Sails”. 3rd year student of the Orchestra Faculty Vladislav Dovalev (tuba) was awarded 1st degree laureate diploma in nomination Instrumental Art. Brass and percussion instruments. (class of P.Dudarenko);

Laureates of International competition-festival of Percussion Instruments, Marching and Brass Orchestras which was held from 24 November till 1 December 2019 in St.Petersburg became: graduate student A.Malishevsky (percussion instruments) was awarded 1st degree diploma in nomination “Orchestra percussion” (solo); 2nd year student D.Kuznetsov (percussion instruments) was awarded 2nd degree diploma in nomination “Marimba” (solo); 5th year student E.Shepelev was awarded 1st degree diploma in nomination“Marimba” (solo); 2nd year student Yu.Shablovsky (percussion instruments) was awarded 3rd degree diploma in nomination “Timpani” (solo), 3rd degree diploma in nomination “Percussion”; 2nd year student Ya.Sikorsky (percussion instruments) was awarded 3rd degree diploma in nomination “Snare drum” (solo).

From October 31 till November 3, 2019 in Minsk (Belarus) was held XIX International competition-festival of music-creative art Slavic meetings. 1st year student of the Orchestra Faculty L.Gevorkov (trumpet) was awarded 2nd degree diploma in nomination Instrumental art (trumpet); 5th year student S.Kovaliuk (trumpet) was awarded 1st degree diploma in nomination Instrumental Art (trumpet) and Special prize in nomination high level of performing mastery;

On June 17-23, 2018 in Kishinev (Moldova) was held XXIV International competition of young performers named after E.Coca. 1st year student V.Kovalesvsky (trombone) became 2nd degree laureate.

From November 29 till December 2, 2017 in Kaunas (Lithuania) was held IV International competition of classic music “Kaunas Sonorum”. 5th year student P.Kunts was awarded 2nd prize in nomination “brass instruments”.

From November 27 till December 3, 2017 in St.Petersburg was held V International Competition-Festival of Percussion Instruments, Marching and Brass Orchestras “Percussion Wave”. 5th year student R.Zhdanovich became 1st degree laureate in nomination “marimba” and “snare drum”, D.Larkov (4th year student) became 2nd degree laureate in nomination “snare drum”.

From October 27 till November 3, 2017 in Moscow (Russia) was held the final stage of VII International youth festival-competition “Parade of brass instruments. Drumsfest Russia — 2017”. 1st degree laureates are 1st year student V.Dybal in nomination “vibraphone (solo)” and 4th year student A.Malishevsky in nomination “snare drum (solo)”;

On April 24-27, 2017 in Chernovtsy (Ukraine) was held VII International competition of young brass and percussion instruments performers “Surmy Bukoviny”. The laureates of the competition are French horn players: P.Kunts (1st prize), A.Belokursky and E.Sivakov (2nd prize).

On October 14-21, 2016 in Opole (Poland) was held International competition of brass performers. 4th year student R.Zhdanovich became 3rd degree laureate.

From April 27 till May 3, 2015 in Moscow was held International youth festival-competition “Parade of brass instruments. Drumsfest Russia — 2015”. R.Zhdanovich became 1st degree laureate (in nominations “marimba” and “snare drum”) and D.Larkov became 2nd degree laureate (in nomination “snare drum” );

On June 21-26, 2012 in Kishinev (Moldova) was held XVIII International competition of young performers “Eugen Coca”. Among the brass and percussion instruments performers 1st prize laureates are 2nd year students A.Veresov and K.Shamedko, 2nd prize laureate is 2nd year student A.Tsygan;

On April 11-20, 2012 in Pyongyang (North Korea) was held 28th International festival-competition “April spring”. Trumpet ensemble “Intraday” was awarded Gran Prix (1st year student A.Tsygan, 4th year student N.Kuchinsky, graduate student A.Oleinik, alumni of the academy M.Polienko and M.Shkulepa);

On March 6-12, 2011 in Vilnius (Lithuania) was held International competition of brass and percussion instruments performers. 5th year student A.Semionova was awarded 1st prize;

On June 20-25, 2010 in Kishinev (Moldova) was held XVI International competition of young performers named after E.Coca. In “trumpet” nomination laureates are 2nd year student D.Kostiushka (1st prize) and A.Matveev (2nd prize), in “trombone” nomination 2nd year student P.Grudina was awarded 2nd prize;

On April 10-18, 2009 in Pyongyang (North Korea) was held 26th International festival-competition “April spring”. Trumpet ensemble “Intraday” was awarded Gran Prix;

 

On March 22-27, 2009 in Smorgon was held IX International competition of chamber ensembles named after M.Oginsky. Trumpet ensemble “Intraday” was awarded 1st prize;

On October 20-26, 2008 in Minsk were held V Delphic Games of the CIS countries (www.delphic.ru). 2nd year student, trumpet player V.Pontus won the Silver medal, N.Kuchinsky became diploma holder;

On June 20-25, 2008 in Kishinev (Moldova) was held XVI International festival of young performers named after E.Coca. 2nd prize laureates are 1st year student, trumpet player A.Khlebovich and 2nd year student, tuba player P.Korzun; 3rd prize winner is 2nd year student, French horn player A.Andreichikov. 2nd year student, French horn player D.Romashko became diploma holder;

On November 19-25, 2007 in Lvov (Ukraine) was held I International competition of brass and percussion instruments performers named after S.Ganich. 3rd year student, trumpet player M.Shkulepa became 1st prize laureate, 2nd prize laureate – A.Beknazarian. Trombonist S.Semionov (3rd year student) became diploma holder;

On June 23-28, 2006 in Kishinev (Moldova) was held VIII International competition of young performers named after E.Coca. In nomination “tuba” 5th year student S.Shepelev became 1st prize winner, 3rd year student O.Mariankov became 2nd prize winner. In “trumpet” nomination 2nd year student M.Kozlov became 2nd prize winner;

From March 23 till April 1, 2005 in Plovdiv (Bulgaria) was held International competition of percussion instruments performers. A.Semionova was awarded diploma;

From September 25 till October 1, 2004 in Kishinev (Moldova) was held II youth Delphic Games of the CIS countries. 1st year student E.Lange (French horn) was awarded the Silver Medal;

A wide range of musicians became laureates of International competition of young performers named after E.Coca which was held in Kishinev (Moldova) from June 21 till June 27, 2004. “Trumpet” nomination laureates: A.Oleinik (2nd year student) 1st prize, A.Kostiushko (4th year student) 2nd prize; “French horn” nomination: V.Karabukhin (1st year student) 3rd prize; “Trombone” nomination” A.Demidenko (2nd year student) 1st prize, M.Sosenkova (1st year student) 2nd prize, K.Karpovich (1st year student) 3rd prize;
