L.Kuzmitskaya began her creative activity in Belarusian State Academic Music Theatre in 1995 as a choir artist. In 1997 after graduating from the Vocal Department of Belarusian State Academy of Music she joined actor troupe as 1st category artist-vocalist. In 2000 she received higher category of artist-vocalist, in 2007 “scene virtuoso” category.

Perfect vocal school, beautiful voice timbre, endless creative energy, bright dramatic temper and good creative taste let L.Kuzmutskaya take leading role in theatric troupe, demonstrate wide performing diapason. Dramatically full, psychologically accurate stage images of L.Kuzmitskaya stand out by accuracy and there are the example of high performing mastery and vocal culture.

First roles of the artist – Mania and Maritsa in classic operetta “Maritsa” by I.Kalman – demonstrated her skills: ability to carry out difficult music material on the highest professional level, create interesting, dramatically full images. Artist equally talented in creating images of heroines in musical compositions of different genres – in opera, operetta, musical comedy and modern musical etc.

Last roles of L.Kuzmitskaya (Mrs Banks, musical “Marry Poppins”; Pendrick Eleonora, operetta “Husbands” etc.) enriched his art gallery of beautiful images-portraits created by Belarusian artists representatives of musical-theatrical art. Talented command of pallet of various stylistic devices let her proof her high professionalism and status of ace actress.

L.Kuzmitskaya performs concert stages in Russian as well in Belarusian language, demonstrates examples of high vocal mastery and vocal culture in scale projects of the theatre – “Musical kaleidoscope”, “Tales of Vienna forest”, “Magic world of operetta”, “Confession of a woman”, traditional festive programmes etc.

Annually she takes active part in charity concerts and theatre projects including: annual charity concert to the Victory’s Day “Echelon of Victory” organized with the support of Minsk State Deputies Council; great concert of soloists of the Symphony Orchestra of the Theatre; charity concert dedicated to the Independence of the Republic of Belarus etc.

She is laureate of international competition, laureate of National theatrical prize, F.Skoryna medal.

Artist participated in many theatrical tours in various Belarusian cities, on high professional level presemts Belarusian musical-theatrical art at tours in Russia (Yekaterinburg, Petrozavodsk, Smolensk, Tula, Novomoscowsc, Ufa, Kaliningrad, Stavropol), Lithuania (Klaipeda, Vilnius, Panevezhis), Latvia (Rezekne, Daugavpils, Riga).

She has rich concert repertoire from vocal compositions of P.Tchaikovsky, M.Musorgsky, N.Rimsky-Korsakov, M.Metner, S.Rakhmaninov, D.Shostakovich, G.Wolf. She performs with this repertoire in different concert programmes in Belarusian capital for representatives of different professional and social groups.

Her creative activity is successful and has positive reviews in mass media.

L.Kuzmitskaya has big experience in collaboration with big art formations of the republic, including State Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus, Symphony Orchestra of the National State Television and Radio Company, concert orchestra “Nemiga”, exemplary orchestra of the Military Forces of the Republic of Belarus etc.

She was awarded National prize in the sphere of theatrical art named after P.Aleksandrovskaya and prize “Inspiration” for performing Rosalinda role in operetta “Bat” by I.Strauss in 2003. Her creative achievements were marked on state level many times. For high performing mastery and significant contribution into development of Belarusian musical art she was awarded:

  • Certificate of Honor from the Minsk State Executive committee (2006);
  • Diploma holder of International festival of mono plays “Me” with play-opera “Voice of a human” (2008);
  • Gratitude from the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus (2011);
  • Laureate of XVI International competition “Kazan Coloring” within the frames of international project “Coasts of Hope” (Russia, 2011);
  • Certificate of Honor from the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus (2014);
  • Skoryna Medal (2016);
  • Prizes in nomination “Best female role in musical theatre” of IV Republican competition of theatrical art “National theatrical prize” (2016).
  • Certificate of Honor from the Administration of Moscow region of Minsk (2020);
  • Breast mark “For merits” from administration of Moscow region of Minsk (2020);
  • Gratitude from the Head of the State Border Guard Committee of the Republic of Belarus for fruitful cooperation with boarder guard authorities, active cooperation in promotion of Belarusian History (2021);
  • Certificate from the Central Committee of Belarusian Professional Union of Culture Workers for many years of labor in culture sphere, great personal contribution into strengthening of professional union movement in Belarus (2021).

L.Kuzmitskaya continues to enrich Belarusian musical and theatrical art.
