Admission rules
The training course at the Preparatory Department is aimed at studying the subjects necessary for admission to education institutions of the Republic of Belarus in accordance with the “Art and Humanities” program in the field of education “Arts” in the following specialties:

Training at the preparatory department is aimed at preparing applicants for admission to the Academy of Music. It also possible to pursue a master’s degree with English as instruction language according to the preparatory department curriculum.
The department activities are aimed at:
- a knowledge system development necessary for admission to higher education institutions of the Republic of Belarus in the chosen field of education;
- students adaptation to study at the higher education institution;
- ideological and educational work organization while implementing the educational program of further education for adults.
After completing the training course, students take credits and exams in all subjects included in the curriculum. Passing the exams is a condition for admission to the main course of study at the Academy of Music (for foreign students).
The preparatory department offers full-time education. The course duration is nine months (from September, 15 till June, 14). The tuition fee at the preparatory department is $ 5,150 per year.
