Tamara Streltsova was born on December 7, 1953 Kiyakovo village, Vitebsk oblast, Belarus.
In 1975 she graduated from the Belarusian State University with a degree in Russian language and literature, Belarusian language and literature. For 25 years she worked as a teacher of the Belarusian language and literature, world art culture. She has been working at the Belarusian State Academy of Music since September 2009. Currently she teaches Russian as a foreign language to students of the preparatory department of the Academy.
