The main activities of the department:
- Planning, organizing, carrying out repair works of computer, multimedia and interactive equipment of the Academy. Monitoring and controlling warranty maintenance of equipment.
- Ensuring the anti-virus and data protection of personal workstations. Installation and maintenance of application software.
- Participation in the planning and organization of purchases of computer parts and equipment.
- Implementation of continuous study of the state and directions of development of the Academy’s corporate information network.
- Analysis of the equipment of the structural divisions of the Academy with computer, multimedia (interactive), office equipment and software.
- Planning of directions of development of the material base of network technologies and communication facilities of the Academy.
- Ensuring the educational process by means of network and multimedia technologies.
- Organization and implementation of technical and software support for the functioning of the Academy’s corporate information network in the modes of constant operability.
- Administration of the Academy’s corporate email.
- Technical support of the Academy’s Internet site.
- User registration of the local computer network and corporate mail service, differentiation of employee access rights to network resources and control of the use of network resources.
- Database support and maintenance: IDFS “SMBusiness”, “1C: Buhgalteriya” and “1C: Otdel kadrov”, “Student”, teaching staff, ACS, “Elektronnyj repozitorij”, “Elektonnyj katalog”, “Universitetskaya biblioteka”, “Lan'”, “E-library”.
- Contractual work with suppliers (contractors) of information services on the functioning of information resources and databases.
- Production of student ID cards, credit books and passes.
- Technical support of various video and online conferences of the Academy.
