She was born on May 25, 1974 in Vitebsk (Belarus).
Has academic degree “Master of Arts”, in 2014 finished professional development at the Opera Training Department (certificate), in 2015 master courses of maestro G.Mazoni, in 2019 professional development at the Professional Development and Staff Retraining Faculty of Belarusian State Academy of Music.
After graduating worked as a soloist of Belarusian State Philharmonic Society (from 2001 till 2013), soloist of “Culture” channel of Belarusian Television and Radio Company, teacher of the Theatrical Art and Mass Festivals Department of Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts (2001-2006).
While she was a soloist of Belarusian State Philharmonic Society, she began her pedagogic activity at the Singing Department in 2008. She has been working in the Academy for 14 years. She is laureate of international and national competitions: “Songs of our fathers’ youth” 1996, Vitebsk, international “Artsession” 1998, Vitebsk, “Ubel bird” 2001, international named after I.Alchevsky, Ukraine, Alchevsk., 2006. She was a jury member of competitions: open “Edelweiss”, “Krystal fork” Minsk, international “Russian song” Minsk (regional stage) “named after Kl.Tenischeva” Smolensk, “Star-show” etc.
During the time of work in Belarusian State Philharmonic Society prepared and performed a range of solo projects on the stage of Belarusian State Philharmonic Society as well as other concert places of the republic: numerous solo projects, musical-educational work and promotion of works of Belarusian Composers.
In her class there are Belarusian as well as foreign students. D.Trukhan-Bogdanova also teaches graduate students. Students of her class are laureates and diploma holders of international competitions.
For the years of work she trained 11 graduates and 26 MA students that work in leading theatres and creative groups of the country. Including leading soloists of State Choir Chappelle named after G.Shirma of Belarusian State Philharmonic Society: E.Komarova – soloist of State Academic Choir Chappelle named after G.Shirma, intern of the National Academic Bolshoi Theatre of the Republic of Belarus, M.Kerus – soloist of Academic Choir Chappelle named after G.Shirma, invited soloist of the Ensemble of the Military Forces of the Republic of Belarus, teachers of Chinese universities – Gao Miao, Zhao Mingsih, Hu Aichung, Zhou Ling, Jian Shang, Yang Dun; leading specialist of Shanghai Culture Center Zhang Yingzhen, soloist of Xinyang Philharmonic Society A.Shasholko etc.
D.Trukhan-Bogdanova prepared courses of lectures “History of vocal art”, “Theory and history of vocal art” for the Faculty of Professional Development and Staff Retraining, holds the class of the special cycle classes “Solo singing”, “Performing practice”, “History of vocal art”.
She took part in development of the range of educational programmes, educational-methodological complexes of subjects: “Solo singing”, “Performing practice”, “History of vocal art”, “Pedagogic practice”, “Solo singing” for graduate students. D.Trukhan-Bogdanova participates in scientific research work of the department.
Richest musical, performing and life experience of D.Trukhan-Bogdanova is prominently expressed in pedagogy. Having a giant repertoire (opera and chamber-vocal), professionalism, performing mastery, many years of collaboration with talented partners provided her with high educational level and creative approach to pedagogy.
