She was born on June 8, 1991 in Osinniki (Kemerov region, Russia).

Since 2016 to 2022, she worked as an Accompanist of the Woodwind Instrument Department and teacher of the Piano Accompaniment Department (as a part- time employee). Since 2022, he is a senior teacher of the Piano Accompaniment Department. He gives classes the Professional Development and Staff Retraining Faculty of the Belarusian State Academy of Music
She completed her Master’s degree in 2016 in specialty “Musical Art”. Research adviser – Professor V.L.Yakoniuk. She is a Member of the Council of Young Scientists under the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus (2022).
As an Accompanist, she took part in the master-classes with Leonid Gurvich (Germany), Marika Lombardi (Italy-France), Olga Tomilova (Moscow), Robertas Beinaris (Lithuania).

Elena Chekir is a laureate of open regional, zonal competitions in Russia, scholarship holder of the N.S.Ermakova Foundation (2008), scholarship holder of “Young Talents of Kuzbass Foundation” (2009), laureate of the Governor’s Prize in the field of culture and art (2008) Russia, laureate of open republican competitions and competition-festivals (Belarus), winner of international competitions and competition-festivals.

Awarded with diplomas for the best accompanist skills:

VII International Competition of Young Performers on woodwind instruments named after. D. Bedy (2016); VIII All-Ukrainian Open Competition of Young Performers on Woodwind Instruments named after V. Starchenko (2018); I International Competition of Performers on Wind Instruments named after. V. Antonov and M. Zakopets (2018); VI Republican Open Competition of Young Performers “Belarusian talents” (2019); XXVIII International Competition named after E. Koki (2022).

She has more than six publications.
