She was born on July 3, 1975 in Minsk (BSSR).

Since 1997, she has been teaching at the Special Piano Department of the Belarusian State Academy of Music, since 2005 she has been a senior teacher, since 2018 – an Associate Professor.

Marina Rusakova performs solo, in duets, as part of chamber ensembles and with orchestras with concerts in Belarus and abroad (Russia, Poland, France, Bahrain). She has an extensive concert repertoire, performs works of different styles, eras and trends.

The first scholarship holder of the Special Fund of the President of the Republic of Belarus for the Support of Gifted Pupils and Students (1996). Laureate of the 4th prize at the E.Durle International Piano Competition in Belgium (1996). She took part in the Paderewski Festival in Warsaw (1996). She was awarded the Diploma of the best accompanist at International competitions, the Diploma for teaching the Laureate who received the Grand Prix of the International Competition for Young Performers (Yalta, 2006).
