He was born on July 11, 1960 in Novoselki, Gomel region, Belarus.

In Belarusian State Conservatory was a teacher of tuba class (1985). Since 2011 was the Dean of the Orchestra Faculty. Since September 2, 2022 is a teacher of the Brass and Percussion Instruments Department. He trained more than 50 specialists and 10 graduate students. He is the author of more than 30 scientific and 20 creative works, educational manuals, articles about history of tuba performing, method of teaching tuba performing. He published a range of articles, commemorated to the problems of performing brass instruments and general issues of musical culture:

Among his graduates there are more than 20 laureates and diploma holders of international competitions, including A.Morozov, A.Shishkov, P.Korzun, S.Shepelev, O.Mariankov etc. He is a jury member of international and republican competitions of brass musician-performers: Gomel (2008), Mogilev (2011), Minsk (2013), Krasnoyarsk (2014), Astana (2015). He is the head of State exam commissions in musical colleges in Belarus (Minsk, Molodechno, Mogilev). He was awarded Certificate of Honor from the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus and Certificate “For high pedagogical mastery” (2008, 2016), Certificate of Honor from the Rector of the Academy (2015), Gratitude from the Administration of Minsk Central region (2016). Certificate of Honor (2017) and Gratitude (2018) from Minsk City Deputy Council, Gratitude from the Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus (2020), Certificate from Minsk organization “Belarusian Republican Youth Union” (2021).
