On November 27-28, 2021 in Tula (Russia) was held IV International competition of choir conductors named after I.Mikhailovsky. A.Gurova became 1st prize laureate and special diploma holder. I.Kozich – 2nd prize laureate and special prize holder. U.Urbanovich – 2nd prize laureate. O.Sivakova – diploma holder.
On September 12-18, 2021 in Moscow (Russia) was held VI International competition of choir conductors named after V.Popov. M.Kozyreva – 3rd prize laureate, A.Shilets – 1st degree diploma holder.
On May 14-16, 2021 in Minsk (Belarus) was held I International choir competition named after V.Rovdo. Female choir of Belarusian State Academy of Music – winner in the D category. Conductor – senior teacher of the Choral Conducting Department A.Arlukevich (received special diploma “Best conductor”).
On May 14-16, 2021 in St.Petersburg was held V competition of conductors of children choir formations named after P.Rosslovsky. A.Alekhnovich became 2nd degree laureate and diploma holder.
On May 12-15, 2021 in St.Petersburg (Russia) was held I International competition of choral conductor named after V.Uspensky.
Ma Jungwei – 1st degree laureate.
A.Gurova, O.Sukhotskaya, A.Petsevich became 1st degree diploma holders.
A.Kanarskaya – 2nd degree diploma holder.
A.Petsevich received Special diploma “For the best performance”.
On April 6-10, 2021 in Magnitogorsk State Conservatory (academy) named after M.Glinka was held VI All-Russian competition of choral conductors named after People’s Artist of Russia S.Eidinov. Students of Belarusian State Academy of Music became laureates and diploma holders of the competition:
— Ma Jungwei — 3rd degree laureate;
— A.Shilets — 3rd degree laureate;
— I.Urbanovich — 1st degree diploma holder;
— A.Gurova — 3rd degree diploma holder.
From March 31 till April 4, 2021 in St.Petersburg (Russia) was held VIII Childhood-youth choral world championship. Choir of students of Belarusian State Academy of Music became 1st degree laureate and special prizes owner:
— «For the best performance of contemporary music»;
— «For the art of choir arrangement» — to Associate Professor of the Choral Conducting Department A.Savritsky;
— «Best soloist of the Championship» — senior teacher of the Choral Conducting Department A.Arlukevich. On March 26-29, 2021 in Moscow (Russia) was held I All-Russian competition of choral conductors named after A.Shnitke. M.Kozyreva received 3rd degree diploma.
On November 10-15 was held III International competition of young conductors. M.Kozyreva – 2nd degree laureate; I. Urbanovich – 2nd degree laureates; P.Shpilevskaya – 3rd degree laureate.
On August 6-11, 2020 in St.Petersburg (Russia) was held XVI International competition of choir formations and vocal ensembles named after Yu.Falik “Singing world”. Student choir of Belarusian State Academy of Music became 1st degree laureate in 3 categories as well as special prize holder.
On September 2020 Student Choir of Belarusian State Academy of Music received gratitude for participation in «Virtual Universities Choir Choral Celebration festival» in UAR.
On December 4-6, 2019 in Nikolaev (Ukraine) was held International competition of choral conductors. M.Kozyreva – 1st prize, A.Shilets -2nd prize, M.Vlasiuk – 3rd prize.
On November 29-30, 2019 in Tula (Russia) was held II International competition of choral conductors named after I.Mikhailovsky. P.Lisitsyn – 1st prize, A.Konovalov – 2nd prize.
On November 30, 2018 in Tula (Russia) was held International competition of choral conductors named after I.Mikhailovsky. I.Urbanovich – 1st degree laureate, A.Shilets – 2nd degree laureate.
From March 27 till April 1, 2018 in Moscow (Russia) was held II International competition of choral conductors named after B.Tevlin. A.Arlukevich – 3rd prize laureate.
On October 20, 2017 student choir under the supervision of I.Bodiako performed in East-Chinese Pedagogic University in Shanghai with concert-presentation of collection of Belarusian songs.
On November 26-28, 2016 in Belarusian State Academy of Music was held IV Open competition of choir conductors named after V.Rovdo. A.Korotyshevsky became 3rd degree laureate.
On October 25-30, 2016 student choir took part in XVI festival “International Conservatory week” in St.Petersburg. On October 26 the choir under the supervision of I.Bodiako performed solo in Ya.Kirik performed compositions of K.Gorsky, A.Mdivani, I.Luchenok, A.Savritsky, compositions of European composers and arrangement of folk songs.
On October 13-14, 2016 the student choir performed in Shanghai Conservatory and East-Chinese Pedagogic University.
On September 23-24, 2016 student choir of the Academy of music under the supervisiob of I.Bodiako successfully performed at VI International festival of spiritual music named after St. Yaakov. Concerts were held in churches of Kaunas and Vilnius and were dedicated to 95th anniversary of People’s Artist of USSR, Professor V.Rovdo. Student choir performed spiritual compositions of Russian and Belarusian composers as well as arrangements of folk songs.
On May 10-13, 2016 student choir performed at tour in institutions-partners of Belarusian State Academy of Music: Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre (Vilnius, May 10, 2016), Musical University named after F.Chopin (Warsaw, May 12, 2016), Musical Academy named after F.List (Budapest, May 13, 2016).
On May 22, 2015 student choir successfully performed in Poland: on May 19 was held solo concert of the choir under the supervision of I.Bodiako in Krakov Music Academy, on May 22 – at inauguration concert of 46th All-National competition «LEGNICA CANTAT» in Legnica. The choir also participated in master-class of conducting for students of Krakow Music Academy and in lection-presentation “Musical composition as theatrical performance” within the frames of the competition «LEGNICA CANTAT».
On February 8-14, 2015 in Grodno (Belarus) was held XIV International festival of orthodox singing. Student choir received Grand Prix.
On December 10-13, 2014 in Wroclaw (Poland) was held VI International competition of choir conductors “In the country of polyphony”. V.Larin – 2nd prize laureate.
On December 12-13, 2014 in Teplice (the Czech Republic) was held XV International festival of Christmas music. Vocal ensemble “Voci della terra” became 1st degree laureate and was awarded golden diploma.
On May 20-25, 2014 in Belostok (Poland) was held XXXIII International festival of church music.
On April 25-27, 2014 in Minsk was held III Open competition of choral conductors named after V.Rovdo. V.Larin became 2nd prize laureate.
On May 5-16, 2013 in Moscow was held XII Moscow Eastern festival where student choir of Belarusian State Academy of Music performed.
On April 15, 2013 was held the final stage of competition of choir arrangement among students of the Choral Conducting Department. N.Rogachevskaya – 1st prize, E.Gavrusionok – 2nd prize, N.Iselionok – 3rd prize, V.Larin – 4th prize.
On March 4-5, 2013 was held scientific-practical conference “Choir art: yesterday, today, tomorrow” dedicated to 90th anniversary of A.Zelenkova and 120th anniversary of N.Maslov. Within the frames of the conference were held pedagogic master, creative meetings, presentations of educational-methodological editions, books and music collections, concert performances of choral formations.
On October 17-18, 2012 was held festival «VIVA ХОР!» and conference “Choral Art: yesterday, today, tomorrow” dedicated to 80th anniversary of Belarusian State Academy of Music.
On April 2-6, 2012 in Krasnoyarsk (Russia) was held V International competition of conductors of academic choirs among students of secondary special and higher educational institutions within the frames of XVI International festivals “Spring choral chappellas”. V.Larin – 1st prize winner.
On April 2, 2012 in Mogilev State Music College named after N.Rimsky-Korsakov was held concert of the student choir of the Academy of Music. Concert was dedicated to 75th anniversary of college and 80th anniversary of Belarusian State Academy of Music.
On March 5-6, 2012 was held III competition of choral conductors among students of secondary special educational institutions of Belarus, commemorated to Honored Art Worker, Associate Professor A.Zelenkova.
On November 21-28, 2011 was held “Choral academy-2011”. The aim of the project is to develop national choral art in the sphere of modern education of conductors-choirmasters. Within its frames was held II open competition of choral conductors named after People’s Artist of USSR, Professor V.Rovdo, lectures and concerts. On November 22, the lecture about modern choral culture of Switzerland was conducted by R.Held. On November 23 was held solo concert of singer L.Glanzmann (Switzerland), on November 25 with lectures and memories about Professor V.Rovdo performerd A.Kiselev (Russia), in the concert “Memories of teachers of the Academy” in the Great Hall of Belarusian State Philharmonic Society performed choir formations of the Academy of Music “Young Belarus”. Second open competition of choral conductors named after V.Rovdo dedicated to 90th anniversary. Competition was held in 2 tours.
From September 26 till October 2, 2011 in Moscow was held III Moscow competition of choral conductors named after V.Popov. Gun Li – 2nd prize and special prize.
On November 24-25, 2010 was held student scientific conference “Choral performance: traditions and modernity”.
From July 30 till August 4, 2010 in St.Petersburg (Russia) was held VIII International festival of choral art “Singing world” where choir ensembles from 20 countries of the world took part (Japan, Slovenia, Armenia, Hungary, Estonia, Turkey, Denmark etc). Within the frames of the festival was held VI International competition of choir formations named after Yu.Falik. The main aims were to introduce and compare best choirs of the world, to exchange choir literature of different countries, learning musical styles, traditions, interpretations and vocal-choir technique. Female choir “Charming lilacs” was first to represent Belarus at the biggest choral forum. Performing in 3 categories Belarusian girl took prize places.
On October 27-31, 2009 in Riga (Latvia) was held IV International competition of choral conductors named after Ya.Vitol. A.Humala – 1st degree laureate.
On February 23-28, 2009 within the frames of the project “Choral pages of XX century” famous Switzerland conductor R.Held represented musical culture of his country. Under his supervision were held repetitions with concert choir of the Academy of Music which finished in concert hall named after G.Shirma of Belarusian State Philharmonic Society on February 28, 2009.
On February 25, 2009 in the concert hall of the main building was held anniversary evening of the Dean of Vocal-Choir Faculty, Professor V.Avramenko.
On December 9-13, 2008 in Wroclaw (Poland) was held IV International competition of choral comductors “W strone polifonii’.M.Yanushkevich became 3rd prize laureate, owner of the prize for the best performance of K.Shimanovsky.
To the memory of People’s Artist of USSR, Professor V.Rovdo, on November 23, 2008 in Great Hall of Belarusian State Philharmonic Society was held IX city festival of children choir music of Minsk secondary schools commemorated to V.Rovdo. Among children choir formations of Minsk secondary schools, youth choirs of different musical imstitutions participated in the festival. A range of choir compositions was performed by choir including more than 500 performers. On November 27 in Great Hall of Belarusian State Philharmonic Society was held concert of choirs of the Academy of Music and National Television and Radio Company of the Republic of Belarus commemorated to V.Rovdo.
On September 15-28, 2008 in Belarusian State Academy of Music in collaboration with Belarusian Union of Music Workers was held seminar-practicum on choir singing. The creative supervisor of the seminar-practicum was People’s Artist of USSR, creative supervisor of Moscow Chamber Choir, Professor V.Minin. The Premiere was held on September 15 in the concert hall of the Academy of Music, the final concert of the choir of Belarusian choirmasters under the leadership of V.Minin was held on September 28 in the Great Hall of Belarusian State Philharmonic Society. Seminar was meant for choirmasters, teachers of secondary special and higher educational establishments in the sphere of art and culture.
On March 6, 2007 in the concert hall of Belarusian State Philharmonic Society was performed Große Messe by W.Mozart. The performers were concert choir, chamber choir.
On September 26-30, 2006 in collaboration with Polish Institution in Minsk with the support of the International Department of the Academy of Music was released project “Modern tradition of choral culture in Poland”. The basis of the project was the Agreement of collaboration between Belarusian State Academy of Music and Academy of Music named after K.Lipinsky in Wroclaw. Within the frames of the project was held master-class, were conducted classes with choir of the Department and round table “Modern traditions of choir culture in Poland”. The final stage was philharmonic concert of Polish choir music where participated concert choir of the students of Belarusian State Academy of Music which was conducted by M.Witchak-Kerska.
On July 11-16, 2006 the concert choir toured in Germany,
On December 12-16, 2005 in Academy of Music in Wroclaw (Poland) was held III International competition of choral conductors «W stronę polifonii». A.Khumala became diploma holder and received special prize for the best performance of the song of K.Shimanovsky.
Chamber choir formation “Cantemus” (head – I.Bodiako) became laureate of 41st International choral singing competition «C.F. Seghizzi». Competition was held on July 5-9, 2004 in Italian city Gorizia. The choirs from Australia, Hungary, Latvia, Singapore, the USA and other countries took part in this competition. Belarusian choir was awarded 2nd prize in monographic category.
On April 16-21, 2004 the Academy of Music was visited by famous American musician, representatives of non-governmental organization “American Voice” John Ferguson (piano) and Air Spalding (conducting, vocal). On April 21 in the concert hall was held concert with the participation of  American musicians, concert choir and vocalists of the Academy.
On January 4-10, 2004 in Teplice (the Czech Republic) was held X International festival-competition “Winter fairy-tale”. Vocal ensemble “Tonica” won in the festival.
