Born on October 11, 1978 in Mogilev (Republic of Belarus).
Tatiana Shatskaya works at the Belarusian State Academy of Music since 1997. Since 2002, she has worked as a piano accompanist at the BSAM Pedagogical Faculty, where since 2002 she taught at the Special Piano and Piano Departments part-time. During these years, she worked part-time at the Special Piano Department of the N.A.Rimsky-Korsakov Mogilev State Music College. In 2009-2014, she was a teacher at the Special Piano Department of the Minsk State College of Arts. Since 2014 – part-time teacher at the BSAM Piano Department and Special Piano Department. Since 2016 – senior teacher of the Piano Department, Special Piano Department and Preparatory Department part-time. Since 2019 – Associate Professor of the Piano Department.

Member of the Belarusian Union of Musical Workers (2013), member of the Belarusian Union of Women (2021).

Every year she participates in the work of the BSAM Professional Development and Staff Retraining Faculty, gives a course of lectures on the educational program for advanced training for leading employees and specialists, the educational program on the topic “Improving performing skills”, lectures at advanced training courses for teachers of the Children’s Art Schools of the Republic of Belarus at the Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts. Over the years, she conducted master classes and provided methodological assistance to music and art schools in Mogilev, Minsk, Mogilev and Minsk regions.

Students of T.Shatskaya 28 times became laureates and winners of the highest awards at 18 International competitions in the Russian Federation, the Republic of Belarus, the USA and Great Britain.

Among the students of T.Shatskaya – laureates of International competitions Veronika Karsyuk, Alexander Konovalov, Svetlana Ryzhkova, Anna Rusak, Liu Junyi, Lin Sizhan, Luo Si, Alina Zoeva, Valeria Mayorova, Maria Podlipskaya, Sofia Shimanskaya, Ekaterina Krezo, Vladislav Kirchenko, Diploma winner of various competitions Yulia Shabanova.

Tatiana Shatskaya is:

  • laureate of the 2nd degree of the VIII International Competition of Educational Programs of Chamber Music and Piano Duets “Duet Music” (Moscow, 2019),
  • twice winner of the 1st degree of the International Competition-Festival of Performers on musical Instruments and Vocal Art based on video recordings in the nominations “Teacher-student”, “Solo performance” (Krasnoyarsk, 2022),
  • winner of the Grand Prix award and laureate of the 1st degree of the II International Festival-Competition of Musical Art “Circle of Talents” (Kazan, 2022);
  • laureate of the 1st degree of the International Art Competition-Festival “Mosaic of Arts” (Simferopol, 2022).

She trained and graduated 26 specialists who successfully work in music and education institutions of the Republic of Belarus and abroad.

T.Shatskaya and her students are active in concert activities, taking part in numerous concerts and art projects at various venues in our country (over 30 concerts). Among them are anniversary concerts (there are CD recordings), themed concerts, and concert-lectures. She is the author (co-author) and organizer of the Professor V.V.Shatsky commemoration meeting “The Poet of the Piano” (2014), the author of projects and presenter of such thematic concerts as “Espessivo” (2017), “Con estro poetico” (2018), “Con incanto” (2019), “Faces of Five Centuries (from Baroque to Modernity)” (2021), “Consonances” (2022).

She is the author of about 20 scientific articles and publications. Regularly participates in International and Republican research and pratice conferences. All conference materials have been published.
