He was born on March 13, 1947 in Mogilev (Belarus).

In 1967 he was enlisted in orchestra of the Great Academic Bolshoi Theatre of Opera and Ballet in bassoon group.

From 1978 till 1986 was a piano accompanist of bassoon group in the Great Academic Bolshoi Theatre.

From 1973 till 1986 worked part-time at the Wind Instruments Department of Belarusian State Conservatory.

In 1986 became bassoon teacher in Belarusian State Conservatory.

He was the Dean of the Orchestra Faculty of Belarusian State Academy of Music. His work experience is 55 year, in academy – 34 years.

During the years of work in the academy he trained 35 bassoon performers which work in art groups of the Republic of Belarus as well as in other countries.

18 of his graduates are laureates of different competitions. The most outstanding students: A.Fromov, A.Dombrovsky, A.Batalionok, A.Murzich, A.Holomkin, P.Lukianionok, S.Romanovich, A.Atrashkevich.

Cooperated with ensemble “Octet of woodwind instruments”. Toured in Russia, Italy, France, Poland, Germany, Ukraine, the USA, Lithuania.

He was a jury member of International and National competitions.

For many years he cooperated with Belarusian composers – V.Soltan, K.Litvin, L.Murashko, V.Dovgalev. During this cooperation many bassoon compositions appeared.

He was awarded Certificates from the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus, from the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, Certificate of Honor from the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, Medal named after F.Skoryna (2007), Mark of Honor from the academy of music (2022).
