Born on November 18, 1965 in Ivatsevichi (Brest region, BSSR).

Since 1992, he has been teaching at the Special Piano Department of the Belarusian State Conservatory named after A.V.Lunacharsky, since 2011 – Associate Professor.

Laureate of the VII Republican competition of performing musicians (Minsk, Belarus, 1984, 2^nd prize); XVIII B.Smetana International Piano Competition (Hradec-Kralove, Czech Republic, 1988, 1st prize); International Competition of Performing Musicians in Montreal (Canada, 1992, 8^th prize); International Competition of Performing Musicians in Porto (Portugal, 1996, 4^th prize).

He conducts an active concert activity in Belarus and abroad (Russia, Ukraine, Latvia, Italy, Germany, Austria, China). The repertoire is based on works by L.Beethoven, J.Brahms, F.Chopin, R.Schumann, F.Schubert, F.Liszt, N.Medtner, S.Rachmaninov, S.Prokofiev.

Sergei Mikulik conducts master classes in various countries (Russia, Ukraine, Germany, China, etc.). In 1997-1998, 2002-2003 he was invited to teach in China (Conservatory, Wuhan). Jury Member of Republican and International competitions (Belarus, Ukraine, Russia, Moldova).
