Natalia was born on January 12, 1987 in Bobruisk (Mogilev region, Belarus).
Since 2014, she has been working at the Belarusian State Academy of Music, as an Accompanist of the Singing Department, Teacher of the Piano Accompaniment Department, since 2018 as a Senior Teacher, and since 2022 as an Associate Professor of the Piano Accompaniment Department. Since 2020 – Head of the Preparatory Department, 01/01/2021-08/17/2022 – Dean of the Piano and Composition and Musicology Faculty. Since August 18, 2022, she became Director of the Republican Gymnasium-College under the Belarusian State Academy of Music. She conducts classes at the Professional Development and Staff Retraining Faculty of the Belarusian State Academy of Music.
Natalia is a Member of the Belarusian Union of Musical Workers (2017), Secretary of the Primary Organization of the Belarusian State Academy of Music and the Public Association “Belarusian Union of Women” (2021).
She is a Laureate of numerous republican and international competitions, laureate and winner of two Grand Prizes of the Special Fund of the President of the Republic of Belarus for the support of talented youth (2007, 2009).
She is awarded with diplomas of the Best Accompanist at the VIII International Competition-Festival of Musical and Artistic Creativity “Slavic Meetings” (Minsk, Republic of Belarus, 2017, 2018).
She leads active concert activities. Constantly performs as a performer and accompanist at numerous concerts that take place in Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Great Britain, Croatia, Slovenia, and Germany. Among them is a concert dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Special Fund of the President of the Republic of Belarus for the support of talented youth (Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Russian Federation, Business and Cultural Center, Moscow, 2016).
Participant of the I, II and IV Classical Music Forums in Gomel (2015, 2016, 2018).
Participant of the festival “Lenten Concerts 2020. Reviving Cultural Traditions” (March 9-23, 2020, Minsk, Republic of Belarus).
Participant of the IV and V International Easter Festivals (2021, 2022).
She played in Ensemble with: E.Sitnikova, P.Chernevskaya (violin), A.Ivanova (viola), A.Bagrintsev, U.Rozhkovskaya (cello), D.Bobko, N.Petrov (saxophone), D.Kolotilo, V.Praded (cembalo), V.Butor, V.Pligovka (bayan), E.Mikhnovets (mezzo-soprano), A.Mihniuk, D.Tokmakov (tenor), D.Sivakov (baritone) and etc.
Natalia is chairperson and member of the jury of republican and international competitions, conducts master classes at Children’s Musical Art Schools and Belarusian colleges.
Her graduates work as accompanists in colleges, institutions and concert organizations of the Republic of Belarus and abroad.
She is author of reports at republican and international scientific and practical conferences on the history, theory and methodology of teaching accompaniment art.
Natalia Korotina awarded with many Diplomas, Certificates of Merit and Gratitude letters. She has more than six publications.
