She was born on April 13, 1993 in Minsk (Belarus).
Since 2018, she has been a teacher at the Special Piano Department and the Preparatory Department of the Belarusian State Academy of Music. Since 2020, she has been transferred to the position of Senior teacher.
She is a Laureate of the 2nd Prize of the III L.I.Margolina Republican Competition for Young Pianists (Minsk, 2002), Laureate of the 2nd Prize at the III International Competition for Piano Duets (Kaunas, Lithuania, 2002), Diploma holder for the best performance of a special work by V.Barkauskas. In 2003, she won the 3rd Prize at the 5th L.A.Brook International Competition for Piano Duets (St. Petersburg, Russia); in 2006 – Laureate of the 3rd Prize at the V International Piano Duet Competition (Kaunas, Lithuania). She is a Diploma winner of the L.I.Margolina Republican Competition for Young Pianists (Minsk, Belarus, 2007), Laureate of the 3rd Prize of the S.I.Savshinsky International Competition (St. Petersburg, Russia, 2015), Laureate of the 1st Prize of the II International Competition-Festival “Music of the World” (Jerusalem, Israel, 2018). Scholarship holder of the Special Fund of the President of the Republic of Belarus for Support of the Talented Youth.
Olga Popova participated in master classes with Sergei Osokin (Latvia), Valery Shkarupa (Russia), Gerlinda Otto (Germany).
In 2017, she took part in the premiere performance of the Piano Concerto by S.Beltyukov, accompanied by the State Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Belarusian State Philharmonic Society under the baton of A.Anisimov (conductor – Yu.Karavaev).
Among the students of her class there are Laureates and Diploma winners of International competitions.
