In 1995-1996 studied in Probation Assistantship in Belarusian State Conservatory named after A.Lunacharsky at the speciality “Choir conducting” with entitling of MA of Arts. From 1995 till 2016 O.Izhik worked in Gymnasium-college of Arts named after I.Akhremchik as a teacher of vocal-choir disciplines, headed the choir, vocal ensemble, during five years was the head of cultural projects of gymnasium-college. Her students continued their studies in Belarusian State Academy of Music, Russian Academy of Music named after Gnesiny, Academy of Choir Art named after V.Popov. From 1997 till 2011 was artist of the Academic Choir of Belarusian Television and Radio Company.
In 2016 O.Izhik was invited at work in Republican Gymnasium-college of Belarusian State Academy of Music”. Since 2017 O.Izhik became the Head of Choir Department and the head of boys’ choir, choirmaster of boys’ choir and young men named after I.Zhuravlenko. Taught choral conducting, score reading, voice production and history of choir performance. She was organizer and head of Republican competition of young vocalists “Boys are singing”. O.Izhik regularly develops her professional level, participates in seminars and practicums in St.Peterburg, Moscow.
For many years of creative activity and significant personal contribution into development of creative skills of students O.Izhik was marked with Certificates from the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus (September 2010, September 2012); Gratitude from Administration of Republican Music Gymnasium-College of Belarusian State Academy of Music (May 2017, May 2018).
Since 2010 teaches in Belarusian State Academy of Music at the Choir Conducting Department.
