OLGA KARASEVA

Born on April 23, 1959 in Minsk (Belarus).

Since 1984 – piano accompanist at the Belarusian State Conservatory. Until 2004 – piano accompanist of the highest category. She began her teaching career in 2001 at the Piano Department. Since 2003 – a full-time teacher at the Piano Department. In 2021, she was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor. Olga Karaseva conducts classes at the Professional Development and Staff Retraining Faculty of the Belarusian State Academy of Music.

Diploma winner of national competitions (accompanist skills; 1987, 1991; Minsk, Belarus).

Winner of the 1st prize at the XXll International Festival-Competition “Musica Classica” (Ruza, Russia, 2018).

She has performed in concerts of the Belarusian State Academy of Music, the Belarusian State Philharmonic Society, museums and theaters in Minsk. Every year she holds concerts for class students on the stage of the Academy and at various concert venues in the city.

Among her students (over 150), students of her class became Laureates of International competitions over 10 times: E.Loban, A.Rudaya, E.Baranovskaya, K.Borshcheva, F.Cherenko, etc.

Author of reports at national and International conferences on the history, theory and methodology of piano art.

Awarded with a Letter of Gratitude from the Rector of the Belarusian State Academy of Music (academic year 2017-2018); thanks and Diplomas from the organizers of competitions and festivals for preparing the Laureates (multiple times).
