ALEKSANDR MUZYKANTOV

Born on August 3, 1983 in Mogilev (Republic of Belarus).
Since 2010, he has been a teacher at the Special Piano Department of the Belarusian State Academy of Music, and since 2015, he has been a senior teacher.
Laureate of the International competition “Minsk-2000”, laureate of the International competition in memory of E.Gilels (Odessa, Ukraine). Scholarship holder of the International Foundation named after V.Spivakov and the Special Fund of the President of the Republic of Belarus for Support of the Talented Youth.
Soloist of the Belarusian State Philharmonic Society (from 2007 to present). He performs as a soloist with chamber and symphony orchestras, and tours with solo concerts in Belarus and abroad – in England, Germany, France, Sweden, Belgium, Poland, China. Performances at Cadogan Hall (London), Saal Cortot (Paris), Concert Noble (Brussels), Steinway Hall (London).
He took part in master classes by D.Bashkirov, V.Lobanov, P.Baduro-Skoda. Participated in the Festivals “In the Homeland of Tchaikovsky” (2017, Votkinsk, Russia), “Prokofiev Spring” (2013, Donetsk), “Music over Motlawa” (2013, Gdansk), Musica Mundi (2009, Belgium), the International Forum WTPI (2013, Belgrade).
A.Muzykantov conducted master classes at the Musica Mundi Festival (2009, Belgium), Qu Fu Normal University (2016, China).
Member of the jury of Republican and International performing competitions.
He has publications in scientific editions on the topic – research of forms of improving performing skills.
Among his graduates are teachers and piano accompanists of music schools and colleges of the Republic of Belarus.
He has stock recordings on Belarusian Radio.
