SERGEY FRANKOVSKY

Position: Associate Professor of the Singing Department
Honorary title: People’ artist of Belarus(2009 г.)
Education: Belarusian State Academy of Music (1996), in 1997 – Graduate School (class of Professor L.Ivashkov)
Courses taught: Solo singing, Concert-chamber singing

S.Frankovsky is leading performer of tenor repertoire. He has bright talent and rich performing experience. During the time of work in the Academy he trained and performed many part:

Besides opera repertoire has wide concert repertoire.

Many times took part in opera festival “Classic Openair” in Switzerland where performed in plays together with world famous singers and conductors.
Toured in Germany, Spain, Switzerland, Cyprus, the USA, Thailand, the UK, China, Turkey.

In 2016-2017 S.Frankovsky was invited as the Head of State Exam Commission of Belarusian State Academy of Music on conducting State Exams “Solo performance of concert programme”, “Special pedagogic training”, “Performing in opera play” on the speciality “Singing (academic)”.

Since September 2018 S.Frankovsky worked at the Singer Department as a part-timer. Students of his class show professional and stable development at the exams and academic concerts. His graduates E.Korshun, A.Endeko, A.Kustov continue their creative activity at the stage of the National Academic Bolshoi Theatre of the Republic of Belarus. He also teaches Chinese students. His pedagogic work in solo singing class is on high professional level.

S.Frankovsky is cavalier of F.Skoryna Order (2016), Laureate of State prize of the Republic of Belarus (2017).
