She was born on April 19, 1948. From 1967 to 1987, she worked as a leading ballerina at the National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theater of the BSSR, and as part of a group of leading ballet dancers of the USSR, she went on tour to countries in Europe and Asia.
From 1989 to 1992, she worked under contract in the Syrian Arab Republic, where she organized a children’s ballet school of classical dance and a student dance theater at the Damascus Academy of Arts.
From 1997 to 1998 she worked as a classical dance teacher in Guan Zhou (China), in 2000 she worked as a classical dance teacher in Ankara (Turkey).
She took part in international competitions and festivals held in Cyprus, Poland, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, Vietnam, India, Syria, Italy, Jordan.
As a choreographer, she collaborated with leading theaters of the Republic of Belarus, and worked with People’s Artist of the USSR V. Elizariev on the production of the ballet “Spartacus” by A. Khachaturian on the stage of the Cairo Opera.
As a choreographer, she took part in the films of the Republican Unitary Enterprise “National Film Studio “Belarusfilm”: “Autumn Gift of the Fairies”, “A Game of Imagination”, “And the Snow Whirls”, “On the Other Shore”.
From 1993 to the present, she has been working as a classical dance teacher at the educational institution “Belarusian State Choreographic Gymnasium-College”.
Since 2012, she has been working at the department of opera training and choreography at the Educational Institution “Belarusian State Academy of Music”.
Pupils and students of O.A. Lappo’s class regularly take part in concerts held on the stages of the Belarusian State Academy of Music.
She has many Gratitude’s Letters, Diplomas and Certificates of Honor for fruitful and conscientious work, high professionalism in organizing social and cultural events.
