The main goal of the council is to improve housing, cultural and living conditions in the dormitory, participate in the management of the dormitory, educational, cultural and sports work, create favorable conditions for the personal and professional development of each student, independent creative activity, the ability to work in a team, awareness of responsibility for decisions made, as well as ensuring the implementation of the rights of students living in the hostel to participate in solving important issues of the life of the dormitory, the development of social activity, support and implementation of social initiatives.
The main tasks of the student council of the dormitory are:
Formation of maintenance of order and discipline in the dormitory, development of organizational skills among students, formation of a sense of patriotism, active citizenship;
Assistance in the implementation of organizational skills and creative potential of students;
Providing conditions for the spiritual, cultural, intellectual and physical development of students;
Creation of a favorable socio-psychological climate in student groups, objective public opinion, which serves as the basis for making joint decisions;
Expanding connections between the student council of the dormitory and students of the Academy of Music, interaction with the university administration on issues of improving living conditions;
Organization of cultural leisure and sports and recreational activities.
