Born on May 24, 1962 in Minsk (BSSR).
At the Belarusian State Academy of Music he teaches at the Special Piano Department (1988), Associate Professor (1998). Head of the Special Piano Department (from 2012 to the present).
Laureate of the V Republican Piano Competition (Minsk, 1976), V M.Ciurlionis Inter-Republican Competition (1982), International Competition “Virtuosi per musica di pianoforte” (Czechoslovakia, 1977).
Conducts concert activity, performs with solo and ensemble concerts. In 1988–1999 he was an artist of the ensemble of soloists “Classic Avant-Garde”. Concert tours in the cities of Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Austria, Germany, Spain, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Finland, Taiwan. He has an extensive repertoire from clavier baroque music to modern music by foreign and Belarusian authors.
Conducts master classes in Russia, Armenia, Switzerland, Austria, Taiwan. As a member of the jury, he is invited to Republican and International competitions in Belarus, Russia, Armenia, Moldova. Artistic Director and Organizer of the International Festival “Belarusian Piano Assemblies” (2013, 2015, 2022), organizer of master classes by famous musicians. Participant of Republican and International conferences, author of researches in the field of history and theory of piano art.
He was awarded the Honorary Mention of the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Belarus (2002), the Commendation from the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus (2017), the Francysk Skorina Medal (2022), Honorary Mention and Citations of the Belarusian State Academy of Music.
Among his students are Laureates of Republican and International folk competitions E.Gorina, I.Karavaeva, E.Zimbalist, T. itkovskaya, A.Gulay, M.Deruga, A.Karpuk, A.Kugach, L.Glazova, K.Gritskova; Head of the Preparatory Department of the Belarusian State Academy of Music S.Khikhich; Teacher of the Education Institution “Republican Gymnasium-College of Arts named after I.O.Akhremchik” O.Tarasevich, Senior Teachers of the Special Piano Department of the Belarusian State Academy of Music M.Matvievskaya, A.Gorbach.
