L.Kolos is Professor of the Singing Department of Belarusian State Academy of Music since June 29, 2014. She has been working in the academy for 24 years. L.Kolos is a talented singer and artist, had a leading place in troupe of State order of Lenin Academic Bolshoi Theatre of Opera and Ballet of BSSR.

For contribution into development of Belarusian musical art and performing leading opera parts she was titled “Honored Artist of BSSR” (1983). In 1984 – honorary title “Laureate of Belarus Young Communist League Prize” (for concert activities); Certificate of Honor from Presidium of Military Forces of ESSR (for high artistic mastery), Certificate of Honor from the Ministry of Culture of Belarus; Certificate of Honor from the Ministry of Culture of USSR (for performing Antonida’s part in the play “Ivan Susanin”); 2002 – Mark of Honor from the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus; 2007 – Certificate of Honor from the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus; 2008 – Medal of F.Skoryna; 2013 – Certificate of Honor from the People’s Assembly of the Republic of Belarus; 2017 – Order for outstanding achievements in musical art, Certificate of Honor from the Ministry of Education, Certificate of Honor from Ukrainian National Academy of Music named after P.Tchaikovsky; 2018 – Breast Mark “Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus, 85^th anniversary”.

All of her art experience and pedagogic knowledge she gives to her students. For years of work L.Kolos trained more than 50 graduates, that successfully work in leading theatres and creative groups of Belarus. Among them there are leading soloists of the National Academic Bolshoi Theatre of Opera and Ballet of the Republic of Belarus: People’s Artist of the Republic of Belarus A.Moskvina, People’s Artist of the Republic of Belarus T.Tretiak Gavrilova, E.Siniavskaya, M.Danusevich, E.Tabolivch.

In her class there are Belarusian as well as foreign students. L.Kolos leads education of Graduate Students. Her students are laureates and diploma holders of national and international competitions.

Richest musical, performing and life experience of L.Kolos is prominently expressed in pedagogy. Having a giant repertoire (opera and chamber-vocal), professionalism, performing mastery, many years of collaboration with talented partners provided her with high educational level and creative approach to pedagogy.

Students of her class take active part in all the creative events of the Academy of Music: concerts, competitions, master-classes.

L.Kolos teaches at the Professional Development and Staff Retraining Faculty of Belarusian State Academy of Music, holds master-classes; helps teacher of secondary special educational institutions and musical schools methodologically. Her pedagogical experience is expressed through creative, educational-methodological and scientific works which included in educational process of the Academy of Music, used by teachers and students.
