She was born in Pinsk, Brest region. With honors graduated from Brest Music School and Belarusian State Academy of Music, piano and academic singing specialities.
In 1987 began her work in Belarusian State Conservatory: piano accompanist at the Singing Department (1987) and Orchestral Conducting (1990), teacher at the Piano Accompanist Mastery Department (1990-1993).
In 1993 debuted at the theatre stage performing Brigitte part in play “Yolanda” by P.Tchaikovsky. Since 1997 – soloist of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus. In her repertoire there are more than 30 leading parts including Tatiana (“Eugenie Onegin”), Chio-Chio-san (“Madam Butterfly”), Duchess (“Figaro’s Wedding”), Violet (“Traviata”) etc.
She is diploma holder of international competitions – International competition of opera singers named after H.Darkle, Romania (1997, 1999).
In 1998 performed soprano part in world premiere of cantata by L.Gamberini “Anna Frank” and took part in recording CD (published in Milan in 1999).
Since 1999 holds active concert activity in Belarus as well as abroad. Under conducting of A.Anisimov, G.Provatorov, B.Ivanov performed soprano parts in 9th of Beethoven, cantata Orfa “Carmine Burana”, oratories “Messiah” by Handel and “World Creation” by Haydn. Toured in Spain, Portugal, Italy, Hungary, Serbia, Poland, Austria, Denmark, Sweden, Norway with symphony orchestras of Russia, Bulgaria, Ukraine. Including performing on stages Musikverein (Vienna, Austria), Palau de la musica, Grand theatre Liseu (Barcelona) and Theatre Real (Madrid). As a part of theatre troupe toured in Thailand, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, the Netherlands, Hungary, Poland and the UK.
In 2000-2002 and 2007 performed in opera festival in Solothurn (Switzerland) where under conducting of R.Vaikert performed parts of Rosina, Céline, Leonora and Michaela. Under conducting of E.Salmieri performed parts of Musset, Rosina, Liu. In 2001 in world premiere of opera “Anniversary” (by S.Kortes) in Solothurn performed part of Tatiana Alekseevna.
Participated in opera festivals in Klaipeda (Lithuania), Sigulda (Latvia), Monschau (Germany), international festivals in Bangkok (Thailand), Kishinev (Moldavia), Irkutsk (Russia).
In 2002 performed in the Days of Belarusian Culture in France. She was a jury member of the 1st tour of international competition of opera singers “Belvedere” in Jiurmala (Latvia) and in Irkutsk (Russia), 2014.
In 2017 toured with opera soloists’ group in Israel with concert programme “Magic world of operetta”.
In 2019 represented Belarus with “Serenade” quintet at International exhibition Expo 2019 in Shanghai (China).
In 2021 performed Aida’s part in the play of Baku Theatre of Opera and Ballet commemorated to 150th anniversary of premiere of opera Aida by G.Verdi.
T.Tretiak actively holds concerts in chamber genre. She is the creator of string quintet “Serenade”, author of more than 20 concert programmes with quintet and opera soloists participation. She is the author of arrangements of Russian, foreign and Belarusian composers for string quintet and string quintet with voice.
From 2017 till 2021 performed with solo programmes “Portraits of Anna German”, “Quiet words of love”, “Love and life of woman. Romances and songs of R.Shuman and R.Strauss”, “To the 180th anniversary of P.Tchaikovsky. Romances and duets”.
In 2022 participated in XI international festival of opera music “Baikal breathe” (Irkutsk, Russia) and festival of Russian opera in Taltsy (Russia).
Since 2011 has been working as a teacher of the Singing Department of Belarusian State Academy of Music, since 2020 – Associate Professor. Among her students of concert-chamber singing class there laureates of national and international competitions – M.Danusevich, A.Vakhomchik (Malevich), E.Krokhina etc. 2nd year student M.Murashko is laureate of international competition (solo singing).
