She was born in 1972.
Choir conductor, teacher, social worker, laureate of international competitions, head of the Choir Conducting Department of Belarusian State Academy of Music (2011-2021), art supervisor of Student choir of Belarusian State Academy of Music, member of Belarusian Union of Musical Workers (2013), member of Presidium of Belarusian Union of Musical Workers (2022). Her pedagogic way started in 1997.
Conducting-choir activity of I.Bodiako is represented:
а) its formation:
– choirmaster of Honored Formation of Academic choir of National State Television and Radio Company of the Republic of Belarus (1997-2007);
– founder and supervisor of chamber choir “Cantemus” (2000-2005);
– art supervisor of Student Choir of Belarusian State Academy of Music (since 2007);
– initiator of creating female choir “Charming lilacs” (2010);
в) making recordings of choir compositions:
– fund recording of choir compositions of Belarusian and foreign composers with Honored formation Academic choir of National State Television and Radio Company of the Republic of Belarus;
– recordings of CDs with choir of orthodox church dedicated to Christmas; with youth choir “Cantemus”;
– audio and video recordings of performances with Student choir of Belarusian State Academy of Music.
I.Bodiako – the owner of numerous prizes at prestigious international competitions and festivals in Belarus, Hungary, Spain, Italy, China, Poland, Russia, Switzerland etc.
She trained Student choir of Belarusian State Academy of Music for the wins at prestigious international choir competitions and festivals: VI International competition of choirs “Singing world” named after Yu.Falik – Gran Prix (Russia, 2010); XIV International choir competition – 1st prize (Switzerland, 2012); I International choir competition Gran Prix “Xinhai Cup” – platinum medal, as well as Gran Prix (China, 2012); XII Moscow Easter festival (2013); International autumn competition named after B.Tevlin (2014); European festival of youth choirs (Switzerland, 2014); XXXIII International festival of spiritual music – 2nd degree diploma (Poland, 2014); XIV International festival of orthodox songs – Gran Prix (Grodno, 2015); XVI festival “International conservatory week” (St.Petersburg, 2016); Children-youth choir championship in category “Students of music educational establishments” (St.Petersburg, 2020); online festival in Taiwan; II International competition of vocal and choir art (Kazan, 2022); International choir online-competition “Accordo festive” – 2 Gran Prix (Moscow, 2022) etc.
She trained numerous laureates of international competitions of choir conductors, scholarship holders of the Special Fund of the President of the Republic of Belarus for the support of talented youth, including Gong Li (China), V.Larin, A.Arlukevich, A.Kovaleva, A.Konovaloc, I.Shish, Liu Jiunyui (China) etc.
Scientific-methodological activity of I.Bodiako is represented:
– scientific articles in the sphere of choir art;
– development of scientific programmes of higher educational institutions for speciality 1-16 01 02-02 Conducting (academic choir);
– making repertoire collections;
– writing introductory articles and publishing collections;
– holding lectures and master-classes in Germany, France, Romania, Poland, Lithuania, Russia, Ukraine, China, Belarus;
– participating and organization of republican and international scientific-practical conferences;
– training of students and graduate students for the participation at Republican and International scientific-practical conferences.
Musica-social activity of I.Bodiako:
– member of music commission of EC-ECA(2013-2015);
– representative of Belarus in World Choral Council (since 2016);
– head of Administration of Belarusian association of choral conductor of Belarusian Union of Musical Workers (2017);
– member of Republican expert-art council of the quality mark of concert programmes (2018-2020);
– jury member of numerous republican and international competitions;
– author and organizer of master-classes with leading specialists in the sphere of choir art in the Republic of Belarus;
– initiator and organizer of creative projects: choir project “Choir pages of XX century” (2006, 2009, 2010, 2012, 2015, 2016, 2019); choir festival “VIVA, choir!” (2012, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2019); open competition of choir conductors named after V.Rovdo (2009, 2011, 2014, 2016); cycle of concerts “Choir legends” (2017, 2018, 2019, 2023); summer choir academy (2018, 2019, 2023); open competition of choir arrangements (2013, 2015, 2017, 2019); open competition on creation choir composition for children and youth (2018); International choir competition named after V.Rovdo (2021); cycle of concert-presentations of editions of Belarusian Union of Musical Workers and Belarusian Association of Choir Workers (2021-2022).
