Since 2021, she has been a teacher of the Special Piano Department at the Belarusian State Academy of Music.
Maria Deruga conducts an active concert activity, takes part in competitions, is a Laureate of 8 International piano competitions (Ukraine, Lithuania, Belarus, Armenia, Moldova)
Among the latest achievements – the owner of the Silver Medal of the XII Youth Delphic Games of the CIS Member States (Russia, Yekaterinburg, 2017), Laureate of the 1st Prize of the III Svyatoslav Richter International Piano Competition (Belarus, Brest, 2019).
She is the owner of the Grand Prize and the Laureate of the Special Fund of the President of the Republic of Belarus for Support of the Talented Youth (2008 and 2017), Prize and Diploma winner (2007) and owner of the Encouragement Prize of the Special Fund (2010 and 2013).
