She was born on September 23, 1968 in Prusy village, Minsk region. In 1979 entered Republican School of Music and Art named after I.Ahremchik, to the flute class of N.Avramenko, in 1980 entered Secondary Special Musical School of Belarusian State Conservatory. Graduated in 1986. From 1986 till 1991 studied in Belarusian State Conservatory. During the time of studies became laureate of republican competitions and Interrepublican competition in Kishinev. In 1987 became the 1st flutist diploma holder in Belarus (All-Union competition) and in 1991 she became the 1st Belarusian laureate of All-Union Competition in Tambov (2nd degree). She became 1st prize winner as a part of flutists ensemble “Syrinx” at the International Competition of Chamber Ensembles in Hmelnitsky (Ukraine, 1993). She is the 1st prize laureate of International competition “World Art Games” (2020), performed numerous concerts in many countries of the world.
From 1993 till 1995 was at Probation Assistantship (class of Associate Professor N.Avramenko). On November 17, 1995 in Belarusian State Conservatory was held graduation concert of L.Lasotskaya which gave her the title of Master of Art History.
L.Lasotskaya made a great contribution for propaganda of works of Belarusian Composers. For example, on December 19, 1993 in concert hall of Belarusian Philharmonic Society she performed Flute Concerto of V.Korolchuk (conductor – People’s Artist of Belarus V.Dubrovsky).
In 1992 L.Lasotskaya became the second soloist in Symphony Orchestra of the National Academic Bolshoi Theatre of Opera and Ballet of the Republic of Belarus, since 1995 became piano accompanist of the flute group of this orchestra, scene virtuoso. She is also a part of flute quartet of the Bolshoi Theatre of the Republic of Belarus.
Awards:
From 1990 till 1994 and from 2006 till present time she a teacher of Republican Musical College of Belarusian State Academy of Music.

L.Lasotskaya holds concert activity as a soloist, as well as a part of various chamber ensembles. She is the author of various arrangements for flute ensemble.

From 2022 she is a teacher and the Head of Woodwind Instruments Department of Belarusian State Academy of Music, Art Supervisor of flute ensemble “Nymphs”.
L.Lasotskaya is Honored Artist of the Republic of Belarus, owner of Francis Skoryna Medal, scene virtuoso of National Academic Bolshoi Theatre of Opera and Ballet of the Republic of Belarus (piano accompanist of flute group). Successfully combines work in Symphony Orchestra of the Bolshoi Theater with pedagogic activity.
