Born on April 22,1951 in Slutsk, Belarus.
Since 1988 works on the Musical theory department of Belarusian State Academy of music, since 1990 – as an associate professor. In 1995-2002 and in 2016-2021 was the head of the Musical Theory department.
Teaches courses of harmony, solfeggio, analysis of musical works, musical-theoretical systems, methods of teaching musical-theoretical disciplines, special class, supervises graduate and undergraduate students.
She is a jury member of I-V Republican Olympiads of musical-theoretical disciplines.
She was awarded Certificates of Honor from the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus (2001, 2021) and from the Ministry of education and science (2001, 2002). Has Gratitude from rector of Belarusian State Academy of Music.
Scientific interests are connected with melody studies, theory of harmony, issues of genre and styles, peculiarities of modern musical composition as well as history of musical theory.
Candidate thesis: Questions of modern melodic analysis: ( on the material of works for wind and bow solo instruments) / Russian Academy of Music named after M.Gnesinykh, 1994. Scientific supervisor: doctor of Arts, professor M.Skrebkova-Filatova.
