Born on February 22, 1974 in Minsk (Belarus).
She has been working in the Academy since 1998. Ekaterina is a concertmaster of the highest category of the Department of Brass and Percussion Instruments. At the same time, she is a lecturer at the Piano Accompaniment Department, and since 2018 – a senior lecturer. As an accompanist, she took part in master classes at the International Performing Arts under the auspices of UNESCO in Chisinau, as well as in master classes at the Wroclaw Academy of Music (2004), Gnesin Russian Academy of Music (2005), Tallinn Academy of Music (2006), Yamaha Music Gulf FZE Scholarship Program (Dubai, UAE, 2018).
In 2009 and 2012 she was awarded a diploma and golden lyre as the winner in the “Chamber Ensemble” category as a member of the trumpet ensemble “Intrada” (artistic director N.M. Volkov) at the “April Spring” festival-competition (Pyongyang, DPRK).
In 2014–2016 she performed in concerts and master classes with outstanding foreign performers: J. Mauger – trombone (Switzerland), Guy Tuuron – trumpet (France), A. Kovalinsky – trumpet (Belgium, France).
Over the years of teaching work at the Piano Accompaniment Department, E. Rakut has trained over 20 graduates who successfully work in creative and teaching teams in Belarus, as well as abroad. Many of them became laureates of republican and international competitions (P. Napolova, E. Kolesneva, Yu. Gal, Ja Si Tso, etc.).
She was awarded Diplomas from republican, all-Russian and international competitions, including: I All-Russian Open Wind and Percussion Instruments Competition (St. Petersburg, 2000); III Moscow International Trumpet Competition named after. T. Dokshitsera (Moscow, 2000).
He is a diploma winner at the International Competition “Eugen Coca” (Chisinau, 2004, 2006, 2008, 2010, 2012), and a diploma winner at the S. Ganich International Wind and Percussion Instruments Competition (Lvov, 2007, 2010). She was awarded Certificates of Honor from the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus “For personal contribution to the preparation of participants in the CIS Delphic Games” (2004) and “For many years of fruitful work, high professionalism and significant contribution to the development of national culture” (2017), Certificate of Honor from the Administration of the President of the Republic of Belarus “For conscientious work, great personal contribution to the development of culture and art of Belarus” (2006).
