IDEOLOGICAL WORK

Ideological and educational work at the Belarusian State Academy of Music is implemented in accordance with the main directions of state youth policy and is carried out within the framework of state policy in the field of education. Ideological work is focused on students’ mastering fundamental values, ideas, beliefs that reflect the essence of Belarusian statehood, and the formation of an active civic and personal position of youth in the formation of a strong and authoritative state.

Structure of the management system of ideological and educational work

New conceptual ideas for the development of student self-government are being introduced at the university. These ideas are associated with the training of young specialists, whose education meets the modern requirements of the socio-economic situation in the labor market, where specialists with such personal qualities as competence, initiative, sociability, tolerance, creativity, adaptability, goodwill, and efficiency are in demand.

The entire range of civil, political, general academic events held at the institution related to the celebration of City Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Defender of the Fatherland Day, Victory Day, Constitution Day, State Emblem Day and State Flag is aimed at strengthening patriotic education at the Belarusian State Academy of Music , as well as faculty days, the holiday of initiation into freshmen, etc. As information support for the ideological and educational process in educational buildings and dormitories, stands “Ideological work”, “Healthy lifestyle”, “Social and psychological service informs” are periodically updated, in electronic In this version, the newspaper “Belarusian Musician” is published, and the website section “Demonstration materials” is regularly updated. Every third Thursday of the month, the Academy hosts information days on topics recommended by the Main Directorate of Ideological Work, Culture and Youth Affairs of the Minsk City Executive Committee.

Employees and students take an active part in national events, participate in patriotic city events of a civil and patriotic nature. The department for educational work with youth, together with curators of student groups, organize excursions and trips to museums and other cultural and historical places in Minsk and Belarus. Among them is participation in a number of patriotic events, including:

excursions to the State Museum of the History of Theater and Musical Culture, to the State Museum of Belarusian Literature, to the Museum of the History of the National Academy of Sciences, the Belarusian State Museum of Folk Architecture and Life “Strochitsy”, the Museum of the History of the City of Minsk, to the National Library, excursions around Minsk “The Progress of Centuries” ” and “Traces of History”, excursions to Nesvizh, Mir, castles and churches of the Grodno region;
ceremonial laying of flowers on Victory Square with the participation of the President of the Republic of Belarus A.G. Lukashenko, visit to the Memorial Complex “Island of Courage and Sorrow”, participation in the workers’ demonstration on May 1;
congratulations on Mother’s Day and Father’s Day to women-mothers and men-fathers working at the Academy;
opening and closing ceremonies of the Listapad International Film Festival;
participation in festive events dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus.
