The Chamber Orchestra “Gradus ad Parnassum” was created as a training collective, it is permanently giving concerts and performs in various regions of Belarus and abroad. The Chamber Orchestra is a participant of multiple musical festivals, it is invited to perform at holidays and governmental occasions, it makes the basis for holding conductor master-classes in Italy. The Orchestra has its archived recordings. In 2001 the first Orchestra’s CD was issued with records of the music by I.S. Bach, F. Hofmeister, V.A. Mozart and S. Rakhmaninov. The great concert repertoire of the collective is comprised of the works if various epochs – from baroque to avant-garde. The performance of the Orchestra is notable for its striving for style accuracy, dynamic expressiveness and technical perfection. Its repertoire includes such works like “Serenade for String Orchestra” by P. Tchaikovsky, “Serenade” by A. Dvorjak, Symphony No. 2 by A. Onegger and others.
