Flute ensemble “Nymphs” was created in 2008 by Associate Professor of the Woodwind Instruments Department of Belarusian State Academy of Music Nina Avramenko. From the moment of formation the art student group actively participated in concerts of the Academy of Music as well as took part in various art projects on republican and international level.
Various concerts of the ensemble were held in educational institutions of Minsk, Molodechno, Brest, Logoisk, in the Concert Hall of Kiev Philharmonic Society, in Mir Castle. There were held very responsible performances in the Ministry of International Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Friendship House, Embassy of Lithuanian Republic in the Republic of Belarus.
In 2008 and 2009 ensemble “Nymphs” was invited to International student music festival in Belford (France) where concerts of the art group were welcomed warmly by public.
In 2015 the ensemble represented Belarusian State Academy of Music at International flute music festival in Delhi (India). The members of the ensemble were Maria Shunkevich, Natalia Murzina, Alina Stankevich, Olga Babenko.
Repertoire of the art group including compositions of different genres, styles and epochs renews and extends each year, the mastery of ensemble performance masters actively. On December 12, 2022 and April 29, 2023 there were held concerts of flute ensemble “Nymphs” in Educational spiritual-educational center “Ark”, on April 4, 2023 art group participated in the Opening of XXXII International scientific readings commemorated to L. Mukharinskaya and International forum of ethocultures in Belarusian State Academy of Music.

— 1st degree laureate of International competition of chamber ensembles named after Dm.Bortniansky (Kiev, Ukraine, 2012) including Nadezhda Novik, Olga Shilina, Olga Babenko, Alina Stankevich, Olga Kachan (piano accompanist – Natalia Dedok).
— 1st degree laureate of IV International festival-competition «Millenium» (Brest, 2022) including Maria Rybalko, Julia Terekhova, Liyubov Semenova, Elizaveta Botvich, Daria Kravitskaya (piano accompanist – Natalia Murzina).
— 1st degree laureate of IIV Open Republican competition of Belarusian musical art “Spadchyna” (Zaslavl, 2023) including Julia Terekhova, Elizaveta Botvich, Timofei Melnikov, Daria Krivitskaya, Ekaterina Khimenkova (piano accompanist – Elizaveta Maksimenko).
Since 2022 the head of flute ensemble “Nymphs” is the Head of the Woodwind Instruments Department, Honored Artist of the Republic of Belarus Larisa Lasotskaya.
