On September 4-5, 2023, the Republic of Belarus will become an international stage for discussing relevant issues of music education in Belarus, Russia and the countries of Eurasia. This event is of extreme importance for professional music education in Eurasian countries.

The Forum program embraces a number of events, such as a joint meeting of the Council for Professional Music Education (Republic of Belarus), the Federal Educational and Methodological Association in the System of Higher Education on Musical Art (Russian Federation) and the International Association of Musical Educational Institutions; a discussion on “The system of continuous music education in the national context: the experience of Eurasian countries”; a concert of the Moscow State Philharmonic soloist, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Ekaterina Mechetina; a joint performance “Choral Union: Russia – Belarus” of two youth ensembles of Russia and Belarus; and guided tours.

Heads of educational institutions from Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Vietnam, and Iran will be present at the forum. The Belarusian State Academy of Music, the Publishing House (Dom Pressy), and the All Saints Church in Minsk will serve as the locations for the Forum events.

The organization of such a significant international event enables to keep up and enhance the reputation of Belarusian education and art internationally.
