  On February 20, students and staff of Belarusian State Academy of Music took part in the Single Information Day “Results of the ending five-year plan as the basis for the strategy of successful development of our country”. The speaker was Deputy Dean for Ideological and Educational Work of the Vocal Studies and Choral Conducting Faculty I.Skvarko.

We discussed it at the meeting: the current situation of the youth councils, plans for the current year to organize events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory. The Belarusian State Academy of Music was represented at the meeting by Nikita Karpov, a 2nd-year student of the orchestra faculty, a member of the Youth Council at the Administration of the Central District of Minsk.

A solemn wreath-laying ceremony, flowers and a rally dedicated to the memory of Belarusians who died in Afghanistan were held on the capital’s island of Courage and Sorrow. The event was attended by representatives of public organizations, military personnel, cadets, veterans of the Afghan war, mothers and children of fallen soldiers, as well as students and teachers of the Belarusian State Academy of Music.

Based on the results of the examination in the Presidium of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Belarus on February 12, 2025, the academic title of Associate Professor in the speciality “Art” was awarded to Associate Professor of the Singing, Music and Theatre Art Department of the Belarusian State Academy of Music Natalia Furman! We sincerely congratulate and wish her further creative achievements!
