The Library of the Belarusian State Academy of Music presents the thematic exhibition “Time to make a choice!” Single voting day February 25, 2024.

Decree No. 367 “On calling elections of deputies” for February 25, 2024, signed by the Head of the State Alexander Lukashenko on November 20, 2023, launched the largest election campaign in recent years, which will be held according to new rules.

For the first time in the upcoming elections, the members of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly will be elected on a single voting day on February 25, 2024. In addition, citizens will elect deputies to Local Councils at various levels. Within 60 days after this, the membership of the All-Belarusian People’s Assembly will be formed. This body, according to the results of the Republican Referendum on February 27, 2022, acquired Constitutional status in Belarus.

The exhibition includes laws and regulations on the electoral process, organization and conduct of elections, as well as books that reflect the process of formation of Belarusian statehood, and articles from periodicals, informing about the progress of the Election Campaign in our country.
