The Belarusian State Academy of Music congratulates the Kazakh people on the national holiday – Dombra Day.
Dombra is an ancient instrument that dates back more than one and a half thousand years, a symbol of the rich cultural heritage and national identity of the Kazakh people. The worldwide recognition of the advantages of the instrument is the inclusion of dombra and cui in the UNESCO list of intangible cultural heritage of mankind.

Rector of the Belarusian State Academy of Music Elena Viktorovna Kurakina congratulates on the national holiday Dombra Day:

Dombra presented to the Belarusian State Academy of Music, master classes conducted by venerable Kazakh musicians for students and teachers of the Academy, became the starting point for creative inspiration of young Belarusian composers and performers to create new works, as well as the continuation of creative cooperation between the Belarusian State Academy of Music and institutions of higher education in the cultural sphere of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

On this festive day, we wish the Kazakh people creative inspiration, good health and well-being.
