NATALYA SAZANOVICH

She was born on July 11, 1958 in Minsk (BSSR).

From 1987 till 1992 she was junior researcher of the Department of Scientific Information at Social Sciences of Academy of Sciences of BSSR. From 1981 till 1999 was a piano accompanist of Choir Conducting Department (class of Associate Professor A.Zelenkova), from 2000 was a teacher, a senior teacher, Associate Professor of Piano Department (2009). Internship in Gnesin Russian Academy of Music (class of Professor V. Nyrkova, 2012). Since 2006, she has been teaching a philosophy course for students, and since 2011, a course on “Philosophy and Methodology of Science” for graduate and postgraduate students. She was the Head of Preparatory Department of Belarusian State Academy of Music (2012-2018). From September 1, 2021 she was the Head of the Social and Humanitarian Department. Head of the Student Research and Creative Society of the Piano Department (from 2010 to 2012). Chief editor of the newspaper “Belarusian Musician” of Belarusian State Academy of Music (from 2011 to 2018). Vice-head of trade union committee of workers of Belarusian State Academy of Music (till 2023). Member of the “Belarusian Union of Musical Workers” (1995). Member of the “Belarusian Philosophical Society”. She conducts lectures at Professional Development and Staff Retraining Faculty of Belarusian State Academy of Music.

N.Sazanovich conducts active scientific and methodological work, she is the author of 60 scientific works. She is 2nd degree laureate in “Musical-Pedagogic mastery” nomination of VIII International competition of musical performance and composers “Romanticism: Roots and Horizons” (Moscow, Gnesin Russian Academy of Music, June 23-30, 2016). She was awarded a range of diplomas for pedagogic mastery from Gnesin Russian Academy of Music, Ural State Conservatory (academy) named after M.Musorgsky, Petrozavodsk State Conservatory named after A.Glazunov, Academy of Choir Art named after V.Popov, Ufa State Institute of Arts named after Zagir Ismagilov.

She is the organizer and presenter of the I and II International piano performers competition “Karelia – Belarus”, Petrozavodsk State Conservatory named after A. Glazunov, April 13-18, 2021, April 18-21, 2023 (academic adviser and jury member).

The students of the class (more than 30) successfully performed at various international competitions and became laureates and diploma winners of various international competitions and festivals (International festivals-competitions of educational programs “Music and Word” named after V. Nyrkova for students of various specialties of secondary and higher education of culture and art (Gnesin Russian Academy of Music, Moscow, festivals and piano competitions of Ufa State Institute of Arts named after Zagir Ismagilov, Ufa, etc.).

She is an art director of the creativity project “Music in museum” (non-governmental organization “Belarusian Union of Musical Workers”) (since 2008) within which more than 70 concerts and educational events were held in Minsk and the Republic of Belarus (author of the concept and presenter), author of a creative project and presenter of the Four Literary Christmas Readings with a concert program (since 2021) at “Vladislav Golubok Living Room” Museum.

She is the author of the report at Republican and International scientific research conferences (more than 40) on the issues of piano teaching methods, aesthetics and culture of the Baroque, philosophy-aesthetic views of M.Serbevsky, issues of musical-educational activity in museum area of modern society, ontology of musical art, issues of intentionality, analysis of the spiritual and moral foundations of the performer’s personal self-awareness; a number of methodological developments in the discipline “Piano”, syllabus in the discipline “Piano”, teaching materials for “Cultural Studies”, teaching materials for “Philosophy of Music”.
