He was born on August 6, 1958 in Oktiabrsky, Gomel region, BSSR.
Since 1986 was teacher of the Folk Instruments Department of Belarusian State Conservatory named after A.Lunacharsky (part-time). Since 1988 – as a main job at Belarusian State Conservatory. Since 2018 – Professor of the Plucked String Percussion Folk Instruments Department of Belarusian State Academy of Music. Trains Graduate students. Holds classes at the Faculty of Personal Development and Staff retraining of Belarusian State Academy of Music.
Laureate of Republican competition named after I.Zhinovich (1987), laureate of international competitions, He is winner of International internet-competition of composers that compose for guitar (2011, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2021 ).
He is a soloist of Belarusian State Philharmonic Society (1989-1991). Performed in Germany, Hungary, Spain, Lithuania, Latvia, Luxemburg, Poland, Russia, Ukraine, France, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, including solo concerts. He is participant of guitar festivals in Belarus, Hungary, Germany, Poland and Russia.
He performed in ensemble with domra player N.Maretsky, domra and mandolin player N.Korsak etc.
He is the head and jury member of republican and international guitarists in Austria, Hungary, Lithuania, Poland, Ukraine and Belarus. Holds master-classes in Secondary Special Educational Establishments in the Republic of Belarus, as well as abroad (Austria, Hungary, Lithuania, Poland, Ukraine and Belarus).

He is the author of reports at international scientific-practical conferences on the historic, theory and methodology of guitar art issues.
He was awarded Certificate of Honor from Belarusian State Academy of Music (2003)
He composed more than 40 plays for guitar, made 8 music sheets (3 collections of personal compositions), 2 collections of arrangements for ensembles etc.

He is the author of the range of the arrangements for guitar solo and different ensembles, performing reductions of compositions of Belarusian and foreign composers.
His creative portrait and achievements are represented in film of Belarusian television “E.Gridiushko – guitar, music, profession and life” (2020). Has fund recordings at Belarusian radio, CDs.
In Belarusian encyclopedia was printed bibliographic article about E.Gridiushko as one of the founder of Belarusian guitar schools.
