The postgraduate forum, initiated seven years ago by the Department of Music Theory and History of the Russian State Specialized Academy of Arts, is increasingly bringing together participants and institutions. The Ural State Conservatory named after M. Mussorgsky joined in 2022, the Nizhny Novgorod State Conservatory named after M. Glinka in 2024, and the Saratov State Conservatory named after L. Sobinov, and in 2026 – the Belarusian State Academy of Music and the Novosibirsk State Conservatory named after M. Glinka.
The conference aims to engage young scholars in addressing pressing issues in contemporary art history, develop graduate students’ research activities, and exchange academic experience.
The conference provides participants and attendees with the opportunity to discuss the results of their research with young colleagues from various fields of culture and art, including music, painting, and theater.
Applications for participation are accepted until June 1, 2026.
