The Faculty of Advanced Training and Retraining of the Belarusian State Academy of Music has completed the training of teachers of music colleges and gymnasiums-colleges of arts in the framework of a refresher course on the topic: “Stringed folk instruments (dulcimer, balalaika, domra, mandolin, guitar): topical issues of performance and teaching methods”.

As part of the course, master classes were organized, practical classes and round tables were held by teachers of the Department of Stringed Folk Instruments, as well as lectures on the history and theory of music education and upbringing, the psychology of musical activity, music and computer technologies and the ideology of the Belarusian state.

In addition, students were given the opportunity to participate in a creative meeting with composer A.I. Bezenson, as well as, in their free time, attend a concert by students of the Department of Stringed Folk Instruments.
