For more than 25 years was the main conductor of concert orchestra “Nemiga” (2006-2012), main conductor of symphony orchestra of Belarusian Television and Radio Company, main conductor of Belarusian State Academic Musical Theatre. For 25 years was the main conductor of symphony orchestra of Brest Academic Drama Theatre.
He is the author of many works. Under his supervision were performed Concert № 3 for piano with orchestra of S.Rskhmaninov, Concert № 2 for piano with orchestra of K.Sen-San; ballets “Strauss” by I.Strauss, “Carmen-suite” by J.Bize-R.Schedrin, “Nutcracker” by P.Tchaikovsky, “Bolero” by M.Ravel, “Walpurgis night” by Sh.Guno, “Thumbelina” by O.Khodosko; folk opera “Bug” by V.Dashkevich; operettas “Frasquita” by F.Legar, “Servant” by M.Strelnikov, “Gyps baron” by I.Strauss, “Sevastopol waltz” by K.Listov, “Dorati” by T.Khrennikov, “Millionaire” by E.Glebov; musicals “My pretty lady” by F.Low, “Game of prince and pauper” by A.Zhurbin, “Hello, Dolly!” by G.Herman, “Glass of water” by V.Kondrusevich, “Dear Pamela” by M.Samoilov, “Kiss me, Cat!” by K.Porter; range of concert programmes. Significant part of this compositions was recorded with symphony orchestra of Belarusian Television and Radio company.
He was awarded breast mark from the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus “For contribution into development of Belarusian culture” (2005), as well as Mark of Honor from Belarusian Profession Union of Culture Workers (2015). Symphony orchestra of the Theatre of Drama and Music under his supervision was awarded diplomas for high performing mastery at International festivals “January music evenings” (Brest, 1999-2022). He graduated eight students that achieved significant creative success, became laureates and diploma holders of international competitions and festivals, received awards, became main conductors into different musical theatres all over the world (M.Asuil, I.Bukhvalov, Yu.Galias, V.Dubovik, A.Politsuk, A.Frolov, V.Chernukha-Volich). A.Sosnovsky is the author of scientific article “From the history of Belarusian conducting school: Joseph Abramis (to the 100th anniversary of his birthday)”, published into edition “News of Belarusian State Academy of Music”.(2018, № 33, p. 149-153).
