Born on June 29, 1952, in Lyuban, Minsk Region. Since 1979, he has been a conductor at the National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theater of the Republic of Belarus. He combines his work at the theater with teaching in the Orchestral Conducting Department. Since 2025, he has been an Associate Professor in the Orchestral Conducting and Instrumentation Department at Belarusian State Academy of Music (part-time). Graduates of his class include conductors Oleg Lesun, Marina Tretyakova, Alexander Vysotsky.
Honored Artist of the Republic of Belarus (1994)

Awards: Badge of the Ministry of the Republic of Belarus “For Contribution to the Development of Belarusian Culture” (2023); recipient of the Francysk Skaryna Medal (2013).

As a conductor of the National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theater of the Republic of Belarus, he tours, performing at concert venues in Spain, Germany, China, Japan, Greece, the Netherlands, Turkey, Switzerland, Portugal. He collaborates with orchestras in Russia, Lithuania, China, the Czech Republic, Japan.

Conductor and producer of the following operas: “Un Ballo in Maschera” and “Don Carlos” by G. Verdi, “Carmen” by G. Bizet, “Cavalleria Rusticana” by P. Mascagni, “The Medium” by G. Menotti, “Eugene Onegin” by P. Tchaikovsky, “Gianni Schicchi” by G. Puccini, “Prince Novogradsky” by A. Bondarenko; and ballets: “Don Quixote” by L. Minkus, “The Sleeping Beauty” and “Serenade” to the music of P. Tchaikovsky, “Esmeralda” by C. Pugni, “La Fille Mal Garde” by L. Herold, “Tristan and Isolde” to the music of R. Wagner, “Giselle, or The Wilis” by A. Adam.

The repertoire includes: operas “The Barber of Seville” by G. Rossini, “Aida” by G. Verdi, “Tosca” and “Madama Butterfly” by G. Puccini, “Pagliacci” by R. Leoncavallo, “Prince Igor” by A. Borodin; ballets “Swan Lake” by P. Tchaikovsky, “Bolero” by M. Ravel, “Romeo and Juliet” by S. Prokofiev, “The Rite of Spring” by I. Stravinsky, “Carmen Suite” by G. Bizet and R. Shchedrin, “Carmina Burana” by C. Orff, “Spartacus” by A. Khachaturian, “The Creation of the World” by A. Petrov, “La Bayadère” by L. Minkus, and others.

He has served as Chairman of State Examination Commissions at educational institutions in Belarus on numerous occasions.
