She was born on May 1, 1968 in Baranovichi, Belarus.
From 1993 works as a flute class teacher, from 1997 as the Head of the Department “Brass and Percussion Instruments” in State Educational Establishment “Gymnasium-College of Arts named after I.Ahremchik”. Since 2002 worked in Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts at the Brass Music Department. Since 2010 works in Belarusian State Academy of Music at the Woodwind Instruments Department. Trains graduate students. Conducts classes at the Professional Development and Staff Retraining Faculty of Belarusian State Academy of Music.
She is a member of regional, republican and international competitions. Teaches at international musical seminars, holds master-classes.
S.Sitnikova trained a great amount of laureates and Gran Prix holders of different national and international competitios, laureates and scholarship holders of the Special Fund of the President of the Republic of Belarus for the support of talented youth.

S.Sitnikova actively conducts creative activity. She holds class concert within the project “Flute History” in the concert halls of Belarusian State Academy of Music and Belarusian State Philharmonic Society. Her students perform at prestigious concert halls of the country. Students of the class recorded compositions of Belarusian and foreign composers for the Fund of Belarusian Television and Radio Company as well as programme “Trajectory of Sound”, “Creative evening” with V.Kistyian, “Mood! Educative and entertaining programme” etc. Students of S.Sitnikova participated as a member of Belarusian delegation in II, IV, VI International festivals “Moscow meets friends” (2005, 2007, 2009) under the International Charity Fund of V.Spivakov.
S.Sitnikova with Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts organized I National Festival of Brass Orchestra “Belarusian Fanfare” (Minsk, 2011).
For the training of laureates of national and international competitions and contribution to the development of brass instrumental culture she was awarded various Diplomas and Certificates of Honor from the Ministry of Culture of Belarus, Moldova, Russia, Ukraine, Diploma of Honor from Russian Philharmonic Society for the outstanding achievements in pedagogic activity as well as Certificates of Honor from Gymnasium-college of Arts named after of I.Arhremchik and Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts.
She is the author of the reports at republican and international scientific-practical conferences of the issues of history, theory and methodology of flute performing art.
